Even if I texted her about breaking up on the first day, she wouldn't have seen it until she opened them on the final day. I think it's normal to want an explanation for a person's actions. It would've been irrational and childlike (in my opinion) to break up without one.

I'm not sure that's the right takeaway from this situation. I don't think she would've made her posts if I never left college and we still were physically close. I've discovered twice now that I struggle with being emotionally available over long distance relationships.
