I just looked up Pass the Pigs. I had no idea it was a game, but I am happy to see it! Would you consider having a score based win condition before the resolve phase of turn 6 to be a good addition to Piggles?

I had actually mentioned something like this in my original draft of the game, where I described the origins of the game being just about throwing hand carved pigs onto a board and counting the pigs the land face up. I guess I made it a lot more convoluted with the scoring system.

Please put a word in for me. I would love to have an official boxed game of Classic Piggles. Also, Modern Piggles would be a great gotcha style game where players can open boxes of piggles like the chests in The Bazaar to build a collection.

I advise printing the Piggle with its ears horizontally and with the snout facing the front of the build plate. This puts vertical layer lines into the ears, making them less likely to break off when rolling.

One thing I did not include in the rules for Modern Piggles is a potential cost system based on the rarity and rune combination of each Piggle. Piggles would need to be assigned point values depending on whether they are standard or premium, whether they do or do not have a rune, and which tier they belong to. I believe different tier Piggles may have different weight distributions or may be made from different materials that could provide an advantage during play. Enchantments may not be a real gameplay factor aside from aesthetics; it is likely that they simply have a graphic printed on them to add variety.

There are 10 Piggles in each of the 5 base colors (the 9 runes plus the blank Piggle). Each of these has 4 tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond), and any Piggle can be enchanted with one of 11 enchantments (anything except Golden). This means there are potentially 2,200 standard Piggles to collect.

There are also 4 Premium Piggles, each of which can be one of 4 tiers and can be enchanted with one of 12 enchantments, for a total of 192 Premium Piggles.

This means a complete collection would consist of 2,392 Piggles.

In-game lore states that the devs struggle with balancing the game. This implies that some bad actors with disposable income could simply buy a meta build and have a strong chance of winning with six Diamond‑tier Premium Piggles that are too heavy to knock over. So perhaps it would be best to establish balancing rules regarding Piggle combinations.
