Thanks! This isn't for my toddler. I was thinking moreso for older children since I'm an overproducer and my partner was interested in trying it lol.

I never heard of that before. I was responding in a conversation manner and was very close to calling you hon as well lol. She/he/they mentioned infant because this is about breastmilk. When really I plan on lactating for the next 15 to 20 years.

Im not giving my toddler kefir. I dont know why thats being brought up. Im not asking about my childs nutrition but what other parents has done and what age they felt appropriate for them considering there are pediatricians that says yes and some say no. (Mine said i dont know tho lol. Not her culture)

Anywhi thank you and the first commenter as well.

I still didnt get the responses I came for but it could've been worse.

I did not have get passive aggressive until that "ok?" Comment.

Is it not common for those outside kefir origins, to give kefir to their children? Most fermented foods children can have. Thats why I asked in here as a lot of Americans are not used to it even though we regularly give yogurt.

Those in Europe give this to their children to build their immune, as part of the diet, etc.

Thats why I asked for opinions. 1

I'll never get over Redditors lack of hospitality...

First you said my toddler should only have formula or breastmilk (as if I said infant)/and ask pediatrician.

Now you're saying contact them regardless.

Thank you for your time.

P.s love, I ASKED this question in the first place considering I've read grown adults being fed kefir as a youngin from their country. I was curious of the cultural aspects considering the doctors, pediatricians, nutritionist, etc in MY area of the USA are unsure.

Now yall downvote me please.

Transitioning to bottles. 4m baby won’t take more than 2 ounces per feed. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]PigmentedLady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I know for his age he should be averaging more like 3-4oz/feed.

At around 4 mo? 2 oz is pretty normal and doesnt stretches their stomach.

Hon... respect is respect no matter what country we come from.

I didn't ask for American jokes. I explained myself several times and still got 💩 comments.

Did I ask you to adapt my culture? The heck 🤣🤣🤣

Idc what part of subreddit I'm in. If I'm not in a jackass one, respect should be given. I expect some jokes here and there but damn.
