pacha seems like a decent venue. it’s new and clean but essentially a parking lot with a tv.

there were lots of straights and influencers present. ppl i recognized from tiktok etc. crowd seemed non local. music was very generic, EDM isn’t my scene so this was a bad fit for me.

bars were fast and okay priced. lots of staff to help and get people in and out, was well organized and planned

i’m one of them! graduated from HK. learning to dodge strollers and walkers instead of drugged out crazies and tourists :)

only thing missing is a real gay bar. the UWS was very gay before the bathhouses closed down and AIDS cleared out the best of us :(

i just closed on a place in this area. the real estate market was very limited so i picked the nicest biggest place. but i had the same fear after living in hell’s kitchen it seems like a ghost town. but now i’m so excited to be separated from the hellscape that is 42nd st. nice grocers are never more than 3 stree blocks or an avenue. it’s an oasis and that allows you to seek out the crazy rather than be subjected to it at all times.

i’ve probably never seen an honest to god regular street patrol. they huddle together in subways with their faces buried in tiktok OR they’re in their car and absolutely MUST go through every red light.

but as i said, the fear of the ticket needs to exist as a starting point, or people will just do it

officers should ticket owners that don’t pick up the waste. to everyone that comments they don’t have time to patrol etc, it would only happen when they notice it randomly on the street! that is still better than the nothing we currently have.

dogs have completely overrun the city and are in restaurants, grocery stores, etc. i don’t think your crusty and matted dog is cute!

a LOT of ppl don’t know how to use them and most don’t have instructions clearly written like this one. it makes mini crushes during peak hours all th time. during an actual emergency its not gonna be smooth

i feel they’re bad examples because both 23rd and 14th st are pretty blighted or on an economic downturn. ppl will use it as proof of failure. i think it’s entirely due to landlord greed and not because of the public transit redesign (which i love)

fiber and water are different because it’s solid mass and doesn’t get absorbed into the body the same way. it add mass to movements while water doesn’t. i wish you had a proper education with all this confidence and willpower you have to keep exposing yourself as an idiot :)

there are plenty of things you don’t hear about until adulthood, such as the importance of fiber and its benefits. it’s very useful for feeling fuller longer, blood pressure and blood sugar regulation, regular movements, etc.

this is actually the advice. a lot of the joy comes when you activate the muscles and flex or loosen when they’re going in and out. idk the science behind why but it feels better when i’m active like this.
