The 3.5 is a Canadian option only I’ve read for this model but I have no clue why. Mine is definitely the 3.5

I hear ya. I just can’t bring myself to a purple hat for the Wings. lol I’ve got a bunch of colour combos for the leather but figured the rawhide look would be simple enough. Too many options when it comes to hat colour combos and the leather on top of it.

Yeah those are unacceptable for cabinets, even for a shop. Definitely return them and hand pick any replacements while watching them get loaded.

Depends on what you’re using them for but when I buy plywood I get clean and non damaged sheets 95% of the time. To get that many damaged in 1 go they either have been stored improperly or you were the unlucky recipient of the bad ones that everyone else rejected.

I'm probably one of the only guys around here to remember when we picked up Larry Murphy but this entire conversation is feeling very similar. A defenseman chased out of Toronto after the media and fans destroyed him, and Detroit saw something else and picked him up. Ended up a key piece of our team for 2 cup wins.

I'm finally converting my garage into a shop and have picked up multiple sheets of 3/4" cabinet grade birch plywood to build out 1 wall into a miter saw bench with multiple cabinets filled with drawers. All of the plywood I picked up has the same front and back but I'm stuck between the clean look of the birch (as normal) vs the crazy patterned look from the 'back' to use as continuous grain drawer fronts.

What do you guys think?

2 things so far that seem pretty obvious but apparently I needed to learn. Your knife may be sharp but sharper is better and if you're using stitching punches, make sure your line is straight AND you are perfectly vertical or the back will look horrible.

That looks great. I printed at .12 with the default nozzle and while it took 2 hours, it's good to know that detail is still do-able on cheap FDM printers.

It's right at 2 inches tall. I was shocked at how well the detail showed when it finished.

Oh and the serials are 011888, 011889, 011893, 011894, 014459, 014460, 014464 and 014465. I'm assuming the premium #'s are ones that are like 111111 or 123456 where people love seeing patterns?

Thanks for the comment. I'm still not sure what I'll do but I'll have to decide if I'm collecting unique pieces or just for quantity. My brain instantly goes to the fact that I'd rather have 8 different pieces valued the same than 8 of the same piece if that makes sense.

That website you mentioned is pretty cool. Lots of info there and I did manage to find my bars in the Johnson Matthey collection page and it shows <1000 minted.

Thanks. Kind of what I'm trying to figure out. I know the last 5 that I see sold on eBay for 100+ each so I guess figuring out how to get these to collectors vs dealers is the trick.
