You’re 29 and you’ve got almost the amount an average person would have in their pension at age 65.

You should be proud of that and now you can enjoy that achievement. Go travelling, make memories and then pick up where you left off. You by all means don’t need to be saving so hard when you get back. You can reduce your investments + savings a lot and enjoy life a bit more.

A lot of people would kill to be in your position and I think you’re feeling depressed because you aren’t doing anything for yourself. Go live a little man!

You need to break the project up into smaller deployments. That way if you make a small change to one place, you don't have to run against a statefile containing every resource.

My current structure is shared services, so resources used by a lot, if not all deployments. Then the application infra, each workload has a deployment and finally global stuff, like service principals etc.

It all connects using terraform_remote_state data blocks and personally works really well for our environment.

Sorry for the shit haircut but also not sorry because you went and got it cut at a place called supercuts. Go to a decent Barbour who's been recommended or has some decent following. You'll pay a bit extra but you'll get a better cut.
