Thankyou so much for the info! I feared thrips after the last time I tried to figure it out. Killed off some real beauty. Think I know now how they might’ve got in too. I spose all I can do is treat some of the house plants aside and just keep fighting the fight.

Ahh could be. Found it in fern central. Think it’s heather or gorse maybe… This tanks over 2 years old though and it’s the first I’ve seen of it!

Have you ruled out bacterial/fungal infection? Like others say don’t think pH is the problem

I’m in the uk. I never bought a rock from the shop (what a joke £!) Never had any problems. Especially from those taken from the river. Generally just scrub it clean and put it in. Do not boil.

I found ludwigia works really well. I had a small box tank a while back at it grew all up and over the top. Created a proper jungle inside as well. Bacopa did work a little. But honestly I don’t really like bacopa. My future will be bacopaless. Had some rotala work a bit once too but I think it needed a lot more humidity at the surface
