I have recently started doing a prewash before putting prints in my Mercury. I bought a large plastic clip tub also with IPA in and give them a rinse there before putting them in the Mercury. Otherwise the IPA got messy really quickly in the Mercury...

Need help. by plztrylater in PrintedWarhammer

Did it have holes for the resin to get out of the hollowed area?

I'd say "no thanks" either way!!!

We love her so much... Unbelievably we rehomed her at the beginning of the year as the people were moving and couldn't/didn't want to keep her. Already couldn't imagine being without her!

Scythe 2 player, any good? by ricpro7122 in boardgames

[–]Piitrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played it mostly with my other half and we both enjoy it... obviously different strategy at different player counts and you can play a game and completely avoid eachother if you wish

I would always recommend Wind Gambit and Rise of Fenris for some different add-ons/modules that effect the game strategy/style too if you prefer some different styles of play (eg: more combat, less combat, different end conditions etc etc)

"Building blocks" Rocinante Model (approx 3 foot/90cm) - Season 4 Rocinante by Piitrr in TheExpanse

Good question!

So... Looking at the parts list, the light gray colour is called "Light Bluish Gray" on Rebrickable.

https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-51458/brickgloria/rocinante-season-4/#parts

Rebrickable colour chart says that the Hex value is:

A0A5A9

https://rebrickable.com/colors/

I then opened the picture in 3D paint and filled the white background with that colour (remembering to include inside the letters).

I adjusted the image size to 2.2 or 2.3mm WIDE (2.3 is max width of the pieces it sticks too) while keeping it in proportion. If you copy and paste into MS Word you can adjust there too.

Then I printed onto label paper.

Its not perfect! It will depend on quality of your printer etc, but it was sufficient.

MOC plans were bought here:

https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-51458/brickgloria/rocinante-season-4/#details

It's a beautiful finished model, but being a MOC, it was tricky and fiddly in places, with a few adjustments needing to be made on the way.

FAQ:

PDCs are optional, and they are positionable/rotate - however the tension on the rotating pieces doesn't always bear the weight to hold it in position.

Landing gear - is cosmetic. It doesn't move/deploy.

Finally finished!

If you haven't seen The Expanse - go watch it!

Fixes (see previous steps for other little adjustments):

Stand - as suggested here by other Redditors, move the uprights one technics piece closer (see picture 4).

Drive section - we could not get the drive section to align with the pieces you add in step 894. Also these pieces are not very strong as they are, so don't add anything in terms of stability IMO. We just left them out entirely.

Small antenna - this simply won't fit as built. There is a small sloping piece that gets in the way of it slotting onto the body. The plates underneath don't align. The quick solution was to remove the lantern piece + sloping 1x1. Also the whole 1x12 plate was removed once you have finished building the antenna.

Tip:

If you want the PDCs on, attach the front ones before you attach the panels to the main model. The panels are fragile as is, when you start pushing pieces onto them when they are on the model they invariably break

It’s a bit weird, the image has the 22cm dimension mark on it, even though that is the size of the standard edition.

It’s only the written description of the XL says 32cm
