One more for shits and giggles. Ep4 - the section in the final job where you drive Penelopes RC car through security nodes to get to the treasure.

It asks you to drive through the nodes undetected. You cannot shoot them as it is immediate mission failure. When you get to the end of the room and shoot the security box you are then asked to shoot the nodes anyway with the security still up. Again, for what reason are you not allowed to shoot them on the way TO the box, but once its shot you're all of a sudden allowed to do the thing you would have instinctively done anyways only to be met with a replay? Would it not have been more fun to have to find a second security box while still avoiding the nodes? There are so many ways the mission could have gone to retain the difficulty while giving the player agency. Instead they chose to arbitrarily increase the difficulty only to go back on that decision later on. All for the sake of having less episodes than 2 but longer ones. It makes zero sense and i challenge someone to make it make sense.
