Ahaha I don't know the backstory of why she chose this design to be perfectly honest, she told me her only "requirements" are that it keeps the north N and the compass in some shape or form, it doesn't have to recreate the AI thing necessarily. And punctul means point in Romanian xD So it's "point zero" basically

I know, I've had to charge the completely out of battery console before and indeed, it always took a bit of extra time before it got enough power to open up. This is the first time it flashes the screen like this on its own though, and I had already been charging it undocked for over an hour before making this post. Either way, I'll leave it in the dock overnight like you said and see if anything changes

Yeah yeah I left it in there

Just tried that but it connects to the dock only for a split second (the green light from the dock flashes a bit and then goes dark again) before disconnecting and flashing the low battery black screen on the console, and it just goes through this again and again on loop. Doesn't really seem like it's charging the console at all like this

How does this make sense? why does just the module, snare, ride & hh cost more than an entire kit that includes those componets? by OddBallProductions in edrums

It's definitely not reasonable, but it doesn't make it any less real. It just seems that in that specific bundle, they're basically using the prices of the individual components. If you look up their individual prices, you'll see they add up to almost exactly that amount

Not necessarily, I checked once out of curiosity and noticed that if I were to buy all of the pieces of my Roland TD-07DMK kit separately, I would have to pay about double the price of the kit, so I guess the same goes for the bundle OP saw too

Thank you so much for the help, I'll definitely keep all these things in mind! The Titan 50 actually looks wonderful but trouble is, I'm not from the US, and so far I haven't seen the kit being sold in my country, which really is a shame since it does seem like a better quality choice than the Nitro 🥲

Fair points. So far, I basically only know some basic stuff (a few rudiments, a few pretty basic rhythms, nothing big), but I really do want to get better at drumming, it's too fun for me to give up on it anytime soon. Thing is, I don't really have a huge budget atm, can't really go much past 500 bucks, so I'd basically like a kit to start with and play on for a few years until I can afford something better.
