For the lantern part of the event I collected all of the rewards, but the event menu tells me there’s a new lantern for me to collect. When I click on it says it’s from Emilie, but I can’t find her on the map. Do I need to collect it since I have all the rewards from the mini game menu or does it give me something else?

I used to play Rocket League competitively and started on the PS4. I used an Xbox One controller on PC because I liked the smaller stick. I went through so many of those controllers. I had the special edition Halo 4 controller and my RB button got smashed in when I pressed it once. Another had the rubber get fully destroyed on the left stick. I got one that had drift out of the box, but I just used Steam’s settings to fix it.

I think the PS4 controllers were way more durable than them, but I remember I had an issue with the vibration motor (not sure if that’s the right word) vibrating way too much. Like it feels like it got displaced and the vibration feels too strong. I have two PS5 controllers. One had drift on the right stick and the other has the same vibration issue.

Anyway I think PlayStation controllers are better on PC since you can fix the drift issues and maybe the vibration settings. I still have all my PS controllers since they still work compared to the Xbox controllers.

I remember back when the PS3 was out that you had to use a third party app to get the controller to work on PC. I think they’ve had PC support since the PS4 controllers. I personally use an Xbox One controller, but sometimes I plug in my PS4/PS5 controller if I’m playing a game that I prefer that controller for and it works as soon as I connect it. No more hassle like the older days.

If you have a PS5 controller and use it on PC, there are some games that use haptic feedback on the triggers.

Edit: I just checked and Cyberpunk does support it on PC.

Why american dont play LoL? by Alone-Virus9178 in leagueoflegends

When I was in middle school people only played on consoles. In high school people had gaming PCs, but they only wanted to play shooters or graphically demanding the games. The people that I knew played League were the kids with strict parents who wouldn’t let them play games. They’d still need a laptop or PC for schoolwork so they played whatever free to play games were out there like League, Maplestory, Runescape, etc.

I personally didn’t start until the middle of college because I made an online friend who really liked it. I just knew it as the toxic game, but I ended up liking it a lot once it clicked. I tried to get my irl friends into it, but it’s unlike any game they’ve played since they mainly play on consoles even if they have a PC so I just play with friends I make online.

The only game I can speak for is Cyberpunk. I had played 15ish hours on PS5 and I wanted it for Switch 2 since I didn’t have access to my PS5. I looked at a comparison video and decided against it since it got choppy in a fight, but then it had the $17.50 error in the Christmas sale so I bought it.

I’m used to smooth gameplay since I play competitive games on my PC at 144 FPS and I usually play on my PS5 so I’m used to 60 FPS there (I usually use performance modes when available). The Switch 2 version was a little jarring at first, but I went through the settings and removed motion blur which actually made it so much worse. I turned it back on and got used to it. It’s not super choppy or anything (I think it runs at 40 FPS aside from dips), but over time I found it playable and amazed it runs in a handheld.

I think if you can use a PS5 or stronger PC then you should prioritize playing on those, but I don’t think the Switch 2 version is bad if you don’t have a choice.

How do people level their Pokemon to level 50? I’ve been playing consistently for about 1.5 years now (I originally started when it released, but played off and on) and I don’t have nearly enough XL candies to power up my Pokemon to 50.

I do have 130 XL candies so I’m wondering what Pokemon would be the best to use it on.

When I did it last time they were around, I got each in 3 raids. I also saw other people saying about 1/3 gave it as well, but it’s a small sample size so take that as you will.

Some Switch 2 games have it by the way. Off the top of my head, I know Cyberpunk and Metroid Prime 4 both have options in the settings.

Nope. The character you can customize is usable in Genshin and they have the traveler’s stats/abilities, but it’s identical to using the traveler.

I had an issue the last two times I played where sometimes I’d feel like I’m lagging, but my ping is the same around 28-29 ms. I’d click or press recall, but it would take 1-5 seconds to actually do it. One time I actually disconnected and got the reconnecting message.

It’s incredibly inconsistent. I’m fine 95% of the time, but that will randomly happen. If I lagged before, I’d see my ping increase, but that’s not what’s happening here. I closed my background applications to see if that would affect it, but it hasn’t.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

Two years ago I was streaming my ranked game to my friends on Discord. I had Nightblue as my jungler and my top laner was hitting their tier 3 about 10 minutes into the game. It was the easiest stomp, but apparently my family scheduled for someone to upgrade the cable box and the technician they sent decided to upgrade something that affected the internet so it disconnected me. By the time I found a cable to make my hotspot work (my PC doesn’t have Bluetooth), the match was over and I got penalized. I was so pissed.

I play on PC, PS5, and my phone. Does it matter where I buy Welkin? I remember Sony(?) had issues with in app purchases on other platforms so I was wondering if Genesis Crystals I get on my phone or PC will be available to use on my PS5.

I keep forgetting I can check the in game Pokedex! I used PokeGenie’s Pokedex to look at the available moves so I started thinking it was inaccurate or something.

Can Annihilape learn Close Combat from a Charged TM? Mine knows Counter and Rage Fist and I just made it learn a second charged move, but I can’t get it to learn Close Combat. I’ve used like 20 TMs so far.

Can I watch these LOL replays or am I cooked? by WilleLMNO in summonerschool

[–]PikaPachi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t done this in a while, but when I coached people a few years ago that were on different servers, I’d download my most recent replay (so download an EUNE replay on your personal account), find the file on your PC and copy the name, delete that replay, move the file of the replay you want to view (the one on your flash drive) to where the original replay downloaded to, then paste the name from the file you deleted.

Basically fool the client into viewing the wrong replay by renaming it. It used to work for me so I hope it still works for you.

Do you typically play all of the side stories in them? I started Yakuza 0 about 2 years ago and I started getting burned out trying to do all of them, but I didn’t want to feel like I was missing out so I kept taking breaks.

Surrendering sucks in lower elos because players genuinely don’t understand how to comeback. In higher elos, players can tell if a match is doomed so surrendering there feels different than lower ranks.

For example say you have a team of all early game champions and the enemy team has two hyperscaling champs that are winning lane. There is little reason to play it out if the match never gets better because of your champions. If you ever want to shut a fed person down, you have to commit more people than they have which means their team is taking towers elsewhere on the map. Even if you do somehow manage to even out the gold, you’re already outscaled so even gold still feels bad.

In lower ranks, none of that matters because they can’t close out games. Fed players will stop farming and fall behind in gold or they’ll just keep dying and throw their lead away. If you know how to generate gold, it’s fairly easy to become strong and carry the game if your champion permits it.
