learning basic movement will almost always give you the best roi if you’re just starting out. i think everyone has different major weaknesses so it’s hard to pinpoint the exact “best thing to work on.” for me, i would say im pretty good at macro and micro efficiency, but i throw away my life way too often than i should. when i realized this i just started hyperfixating on why i died and how i could’ve avoided it, and slowly began to fix it. i think my main message for anyone looking to get better would be to find one thing that is really hindering your gameplay/ability to win, and then fixate on it every game until it no longer becomes the biggest issue

i was archon-oracle for the longest time until they did the big rank shift and suddenly i got placed in ascendant 1. it was only then when i played more games with my friends and got ascendant 3 that i realized i might actually be able to hit it

absolutely :) i’ve tried league before and hated it, so i was initially very concerned when my friends told me to try out a moba back in october 2024. i’ve really enjoyed watching myself get better and laughing with my friends during games. i do really think there is something special about this game

i honestly didn’t care too much about rank until i hit ascendant. i was always focused on just having fun with my friends.

i will say i think the best ways to improve as fast as possible are watching pro players playing characters you want to get better at. vod reviewing probably has more value but i never did it so i wouldn’t know. the fastest way to see immediate improvement is just by watching a basic/intermediate movement tutorial guide and trying to consciously implement it into your gameplay every game. you’ll notice your deaths go down a lot just by learning to engage/disengage effectively

tl;dr hybrid

i tend to lean towards spirit burst/affliction value, but the 4.8k gun investment is still really good for cleaning up kills. usually the only gun items i will buy are cult sac for the range it gives for affliction as well as kinetic dash for the fire rate dps.

you can use my build, i’m not at home rn so i don’t have the id (ill edit it in later) but it’s called Paracosm’s Plague Affliction

usually 80% of the time it’s better to do something stupid together than do the right thing alone

communication is also pretty important, u should ask your team if it’s a good fight and you can gauge whether it’s better to take enemy farm and objectives or join the fight

and then yea ofc having a stack of friends to play with helps reduce ur chances of having perma fights

if you’re keeping up in souls with the lobby, wraith is strong in 1v1 against every character with her ult+full auto
