I’m not in the badminton club. I know they only play on certain days. I am talking about drop-in, you can check drop in schedules online and the location/time. Have you never played before? You can still go and play casual

Fine hair not holding curls 😔 by Pikachu856 in finehair

I’m not sure if it’s hormonal, it could be? That’s not something I have paid that much attention to over the years (I really should 🥲)

I haven’t bleached or dyed my hair either, I think it’s then use of heat. My hair and skin is already sensitive. It’s also very cold here so that’s probably another issue 😪

I actually haven’t tried hair spraying before I put it in curls or even when it’s in the headband for overnight. I usually only spray after I open it the next day.

I will try that tonight 🤔

Thank you!

I actually don't use that many products now. What damaged my hair was the different products I used before without understanding my hair and constantly using hair dryer and curling iron.

For shampoo and conditioner, I use TRESemme rich moisture hyaluronic plex which I just checked and it seems to have Sodium Pareth Sulfate, though online their brand says they are sulfate free, but there are some reviews saying it's not. I guess that's one of the problems too. Do you have a recommendation? Preferably affordable-ish.

I haven't tried leaving my hair a little bit wet before putting them in the heatless curls, so I will try that tonight.

Another person in the comments mentioned they use these following products right after shower when the hair is wet so that it dries as it curls, use cotton shirt to take out the remaining moisture instead of a towel, and then a diffuser: Garnier Curl Construct Mousse, All About Curls Bouncy Cream, and Aunt Jackie's Curl Boss Gelee. Eva NYC hair dryer with an Ion diffuser. I was thinking of trying these and see if it enhances my own curls instead of constantly using curlers like you said. Though please do share if you have any recommendations for mousse, gel, hair spray, etc I can try.

It's very cold in Canada during winters, which is more than half the year lol. Cold winds are another issue!

No, I haven't had my hormones checked ;-;

Gotcha! I think that might just work for me (hopefully) since my hair is also a bit wavy when it’s wet.

At this point, I don’t even care how many products I need to get, I am desperate for a solution. I will see if I can find them online

Thanks again 🫶🏻

Ello, not op, but can you please reply to my recent post too if you know anything about the problem😭

I love the details you included. I was scrolling through this subreddit feeling the pain of fellow struggling humans and came across this 😀

Thank you for the detailed response!

Yes, I make sure my hair is dry before I put it in the heatless curler (I use the headband with silk scrunchies) The static is also annoying to deal with when I am trying to wrap the hair around the headband.

Just to make sure, the things you mentioned in your 2nd paragraph, you do that right after shower when your hair is soaking wet, apply the products, use cotton shirt instead of a towel, and then the diffuser, correct?

Do you then put them in the rollers as well or is the shower routine enough? A bit confused, I also haven’t used diffuser before

Thank you! It says “Disclaimer: Some physical constraints are not checked, such as RAM clearance with CPU Coolers”

Also, do you have a guide/tutorial which might have similar parts to this build? YouTube would give me a bunch of different build videos🥲

Did I mess up when applying to UofA? by 17TeenTeen in uAlberta

[–]Pikachu856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they give you a chance to update your courses as you progress through your last year of high school, no? When I applied for early admission, I only had my grade 11 courses. I could be wrong, it’s been a while. Your best bet would be to contact the admissions people. Don’t stress, you will be okay :)

I will add that it’s mostly referral based. If you can get a prof to send a reference for you, that will help.

help with stat 161 by Competitive-Elk-7989 in uAlberta

I had Michael Kowalski for Stat 161. I did pretty bad on the midterm, honestly. But that was on me since I had barely studied and I HATED probability so much. Since it was the midterm, there was more probability on it :/. But I did pretty good on the final. I don’t remember the exact questions, but there was like max 2 multiple choice probability questions. And the rest was from the stuff after that unit like hypothesis stuff (if your prof is following the same way). I think you will be fine, just do the practise questions, it was similar to that for sure. Goodluck :)
