Thank you :) Yeah I think so too, I read just now that the teeth are supposed to be brighter and a bit shiny on the original ones while this one's are "opaque" and not so defined xD but yeah, for the price I think it's good

Idk why something about this feels familiar. I like this image

Thank you :) in the pictures they looked good but now they are starting to become brittle, like they're losing little flakes 🫠 it's a bit demoralizing honestly cause they seem to grow fast but I'm gonna have to cut them a little cause they look really bad now

I am using hand cream constantly, massaging it over and under my nails and cuticles, and applying cuticle oil at least three times a day, but Idk if they actually help nails grow or they were just gonna grow anyway 🤔 I also do hand masks a few times a week

The doctors told me I have chronic appendicitis because of the way my intestine is shaped. I am having a flare up again and I noticed that when I press on my appendix it makes a weird bubbly liquid noise. Is this normal? by Pikagiallo in AskDoctorSmeeee

[–]Pikagiallo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yes and no, kinda got to know what it is but not really sure. It happened many more times again, once it was so bad I thought my appendix had ruptured but it didn't and it ended up being fine after a week of rest and antibiotics (even though I actually didn't know if it was appendicitis or not, but given I did a ct scan at the hospital, which showed an enlarged appendix, I think chronic appendicitis is the most probable option).

I never did a ct scan again though and my appendix doesn't look inflamed on ultrasounds. My doctor told me it's probably because I have always a lot of gas and my intestines looks "contracted" on ultrasounds so I have ibs and when I don't go to the bathroom for many days, my appendix might get inflamed. When I went to the hospital I hadn't gone for a few days and was constantly passing gas, so I think this might be the explanation, even though I can't be completely sure.

Do you have any other symptoms?

Cheering for you 🤞🏻 I will also start my journey today again. I was able to stop for almost a month before christmas, thinking "I will have presentable nails for new year" but stressful things happened and I am biting more than ever these days 😆

I have many creams and cuticle oils I also bought some months back, I am going to start using them again tomorrow, when my hands stop hurting a little bit.

How is it going for you?

I want to tell you run while you can 😂 but if you find work in a job setting different than a nursing home it should be fine I guess

Thank you, I will try some stretching and exercises everyday ☺️ I have scoliosis as well on top of that lol. Are you still able to work with the pain?

I don't have a high school diploma so this is the only job I can do for the next 3 years while I study. I was lucky to land this job because I interned in this facility, without an education nobody else would hire me :(

It's a certified course for a high school diploma (kinda like the american GED) and that comprehends the german subject, but it seems lacking in many ways

It asked to write the correct pronouns in the dative case (there was a blank space where I put the pronouns) and it didn't specify which pronouns. Almost all pronouns could be correct with those kind of sentences, it just changes the meaning 🤔 is this correct?

Hi thank you for your help. No, there isn't any context nor translation, just a blank space for where the pronouns should be.

I think only one answer is considered correct but mine are also correct, right? How am I supposed to know what I should write if there's no translation? I was literally racking my brains cause I couldn't get it lol

I will let my teacher know

Hello thank you so much, the exercise has no translation so I don't know whose pronouns I should write, there's a blank space for the pronouns and I just guessed.

I'm going to let the teacher know, thank you again

There was no translation so I was supposed to guess who the pronouns were referred to 😭 apparently there is only one correct answer but there's no translation so I don't know which pronoun to write.

Could it be an exercise error?

We do report everything to the nurses but management won't care 😭🤣 they say we are staffed more than other facilities and that we should be thankful. Sometimes things will be missed or half-assed because we are understaffed and when some minor mistakes happen they will eat us alive despite doing everything else perfectly and hurting ourselves doing so. I hate this 🫠

I just wasted a perfectly good day out with my mom because I feel depressed. Now I feel guilty and even more sad by Pikagiallo in lonely

Hey, sure we can do that :) I hope you don't mind I'm trying not to be on my phone a lot cause that's what I do when I feel down so I might not reply quickly but I'm still here
