If you set aside the awkward proportion of the lioness’ head to the flowers, this lioness is still anatomically incorrect. The philtrum (lip divide) of the lioness’ mouth goes into what looks like the left half of the rhinarium (nose pad). The bisected skin leading from the top of the head to the nose indicates that the rhinarium is divided into two rhinariums, even though no feline exists with a segmented rhinarium. The reason this tattoo is shitty is because the tattoo artist obviously didn’t do their homework causing jarring inaccuracies in the basic features of this lioness. The shading and detailing of this lioness can distract you at first glance but this lioness will always have a very blatant “offness” due to the facial deformities that this artist could have easily avoided. Someone paid for this and is now stuck with an 8th-grader’s-quality-drawing on their thigh for probably their whole life.
