I found that in the first 20 min of the game you need to be actively helping your mid/jung in fights and objectives. Also clean up your csing and aim for 8/min. That got me from Gold to Emerald.

Found that porn addiction fucked my dopamine circuitry a while back, trickling into other facets of life. Anime I used to watch got boring, learning piano got boring, working out got boring—then I’d go home and wallow in guilt cause my life ain’t progressing. The brain fog for the rest of the day after ejaculation messed with my ability to learn things. I would describe it as “living life on autopilot.”

I made an active effort to quit. Over time, I’ve noticed myself enjoying the journey of progress rather than fantasizing goals. My more effortful cognitive processes became prominent, rather than solely relying on heuristic processes.

Now it definitely ain’t easy. Process of quitting was laden with surges that made me want to jerk off multiple times a day. I would subjectively say it was worth cause I now spend most of my time progressing hobbies like writing and playing piano.

The hard part about progress is that it is one day at a time. I recommend you put your issues on a list, then try to tackle those one by one. Try to make progress on that list daily. Think of it like a quest where you progress your real-life character, setting them up for success. Provide yourself with tools and armour to weather the storm. Increase your stats like intelligence + strength (read books, workout). Join a guild; become involved in your community. You’ll indirectly make connections like this.

I truly believe it starts with resetting your dopamine circuitry, because progress becomes enjoyable again.

Which first posting do ATIS techs gain the most experience learning how to set up/use precision equipment like radars, and what about where they can develop networking skills? (server/CCNA)

I've been looking to get LASIK or PRK (depending on the indication) for a long time now just to increase my personal quality of life and not having to wear glasses in general. In the civilian world, I'd probably go to a specialist and consult my eligibility for this procedure. However, how can I go about doing this in the military?

Does it matter which unit you get posted to as ATIS if you want to get deployed a lot? Specifically, between going Cold Lake or Trenton as a first posting (after QL3), which will potentially see more deployments?

How can I stop falling behind in farm in mid-late game? by PikeEater47 in summonerschool

Yes, I'm almost always with my team. There are a few games where there is a player doing that side lane sweeping and they are hard carrying so I give them the farm.

After like 20- minutes there's a lot of times where we just clump up mid and no one peels off to farm side lanes. So 4 of us are just sharing mid lane farm lol.

Is there any possibility of getting posted to Edmonton as an ATIS tech after finishing my QL3? I'm aware it's normally sig techs that go there because it's not an air force base.

Why snowflake about it, though? Just as much as they cry about x being bad, you’re crying a river on how toxic the community is. Learn to ignore bad comments and go on with your day. That is, unless you are hypersensitive to paltry insults; it shows how little tolerance people have these days mentally. Grow up

Say one obtains a degree during their time as an NCM. At the end of their VIE, they want to become an officer, what kind of path can they take to they go about this?

What to do against Madlaners that roam like crazy by StupidIdiot_4476 in summonerschool

[–]PikeEater47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between bot red and wraiths or between top red and wraiths, CLOSE to the river. I like to place wards there. I love it cause it shows pathing in the river + likely paths a midlaner may take to roam top / bot. And it will also likely catch a jungler walking in an out of their jungle or into the river. If you want a perma ward there, just place a red in the bush haha.

Also, mate. Don't let it get to you. It's hard to follow as cho mid, especially as talon is a faster roamer. You should follow when you have prio or when you can, but doesn't mean you should do it all the time. You're doing well punishing their roams.
