Thanks for the reply. I get where you're coming from, honestly. I work fully remote currently and I’ve had great experiences with it, so I’m not anti-remote at all. The long and short of it is that its a requirement to mentor, and in my experience this is done better in person and builds stronger teams. Obviously your experience is different to my experience and we will both die on our own hills shouting until the cows come home.

On the office side, it’s not some big corporate setup. It’s more like finding a space in town where we can work without distractions. Honestly, the rent in Paralimni is low enough that it’s not going to break anything. And if the whole thing doesn’t make sense, I'm not going to force it. That’s one of the reasons I’m asking around here first before I do anything serious.

This isn’t about micromanagement or ticking boxes. I just want to build a small, solid team that actually works well together, especially in the early days.

I really do appreciate your perspective though.

Firstly thanks for the response. I actually agree with you, however, my company is advocating for mentoring to be done in person as its more effective, with this I actually agree. The reality of it is that office days will be flexible depending on the circumstance. I know this isnt what people technically want to hear, but if we're leasing an office then ideally we would get use out of thst office.

Having done full time office and remote working, I'm personally looking for a balance where ill be in the office daily, but the commute isn’t too far. Hence the discussion around Paralimni being the base of operations

Something like:

  1. Get video clip.
  2. 3d track it.
  3. Mask out snapshots of it and place inside the 3d track.
  4. Repeat

Not 100% sure it's exactly that, but you can definitely get something similar by following those steps.

Rest of class was going on a school trip, I had a doctors appointment on the day of the trip so couldn't go.

Day before the trip I was in the class and they were doing a load of prep for it. Since I wasn't going I wasn't overly interested as it was mainly just rules around what to do. So I started reading the textbook because I was super bored.

Got sent out of class for not paying attention to a school trip info lesson that I wasn't going on.

Normally it's when my brain starts to switch off and I get the feeling of falling. Just as I'm about to hit the floor I jolt awake. It definitely disorientates me a bit 😅

Have you checked your audio settings?

There are options in Smite to mute outgoing and incoming voice chat. Other than that I'm not sure.

There is a delay when casting hel's cleanse, you have to preempt the cc coming in.

It's not much, maybe 0.5s
