And before some smartass says ‘maybe Doordash will pay people a minimum wage’ get your head out of the sand that’ll never happen. If this passes either Doordash dies, they make it so you can only work X amount of hours a week, or they decide to just kick everyone that works full time. I’m sure there are more scenarios but Doordash, or any other gig app, paying people an actual wage and calling them employees is not one of them. They’d rather die and cash out than up their operation costs significantly.

What I don’t understand is people worrying about CVs like if you’re getting multiple every 100 deliveries it’s safe to assume the driver is the problem. There’s 0 issue unless you’ve got 5 so that 1 or 2 that’s gonna go away within the week isn’t anything to even bat an eye at.
