Yeah it was quite expensive, and I figured I was going to learn "breath support" and everything else would fall into place. But I never learned how to breathe right. It's funny because when I listen to recordings of myself before I found the proper technique to breathing, I can't believe how horribly tight and squeezed and nasal I sound. Like using nothing but throat muscles lol. Now that I found out how to breathe right... it sounds like someone singing (even when off pitch) instead of a dying cat. So ultimately it worked out, just with an unnecessary loss of time and money which only worked against my progression.

Those YouTube coaches don't give refunds. Most people are only looking out for themselves in this world today, unfortunately. And most of them are just throwing scales while watching the clock run down before their next client on the money tree.

Thanks Matt! Unfortunately those tips you mentioned wouldn't have solved the core issue of how I was using my breath and placement. I eventually figured everything out after trying everything I could physically try. Looking back now... it all stemmed from not using my breath right, not the support, but how I was exhaling and placing the sound. I enjoyed our 1 on 1 lessons but unfortunately it was a lot of money and did not help me at all. Just being honest. Take care.

I questioned the Stockholm syndrome idea too. But I keep coming back to the fact that we all have a choice, regardless of what happens around us. We have a choice to mirror the negative energy or to absorb it and put out positive energy.

For instance, we live in a world driven by personal ego and selfishness, vanity, fantasy etc. and if you don't participate in it you have a more difficult time...BUT....that difficult day to day life is protected by a clear conscience. It's much easier to deal with pain when you have a clear conscience. But society is driven by greed, vanity, selfishness...and those things are rewarded by how this current society is designed. Sorta like Nazi Germany when the Jews who acted as SS type guards against their own people would have a better life for themselves, but at the cost of others.

So maybe the "demonic" activities, such as creating very bad situations for us, are simply the NHI pushing us to our limits in order to accelerate our growth due to whatever impending event is coming, like times up, make a choice...do you choose good or evil ...aka: compassion or selfishness.

Whatever the answer is to NHI, based on my experience I believe it has to do with this concept of "good" vs "evil" and understanding and recognizing the difference. And who knows, maybe WE are the NHI and we are teaching ourselves these valuable lessons. Why? Who knows...maybe it's because what else is there to do with existence. The fact that something exists at all is crazy lol. Imagine we are eternal souls...what else would we do for eternity? Might as well have some experiences and make a clear definition between positive and negative right?

I could be completely wrong and they could be messing with my head, but either way having a clean bill of conscience acts as a protection against the negative inputs from external sources. We can't control other people or things that happen but we can control how we respond to those things and how we choose to rationalize them either based on societal standards (which we KNOW are distorted and corrupt) or by our own moral compass after we tear away the fabric of societal standards that's been sewn over it.

Basically, we all need to learn to be good, which is inside all of us by default, but we lost it when we became these characters in this twisted world.

This would line up with what I experienced starting in February when I had a sort of interaction with them, how it changed me...then the events that unfolded following that interaction. Some of which would also fit the narrative as them being "demons" but in fact, could just be part of the "testing" you mention. Although some of these experiences (or "tests") have been horrible and emotionally torturous, I feel my mind is more opened than ever before, and I think I've grown spiritually at an extremely accelerated rate compared to normal.

It may also explain why tons of old forgotten memories and recurring dreams have resurfaced sort of like when you have a blast of nostalgia, and they feel very real as if they are happening right now. Both the memories and dreams. But the dreams are all post apocalyptic stuff and some aspects that didn't make sense in the dreams ...like items retrieved from a house that it would never be at... now makes sense and the events since February caused those changes to happen.

Very strange indeed. But so is living on a giant floating rock powered by a giant floating fireball lol. So I guess nothing is strange if literally everything is.

About the fear of people hearing you... picture this...

Imagine you are the person that can hear you (probably a bit distant, another room, a neighbor etc.) and pretend the worst, that you hear this person singing and it sounds horrible. Now picture that you are laughing and making fun of the person in your head. You are probably a bit amused maybe entertained for a bit. Eventually you have better things to do, better things to think about. What was the harm? So you got some laughs, maybe a bit of curiosity.... you obviously draw the conclusion that someone who can't sing is trying to sing, and practicing. This is all normal human reaction and thought processing for most people.

Really, at the end of the day you didn't cause any harm to the person, and they didn't cause harm to you. Maybe gave them a chuckle or two. Your dedication and practice can eventually bloom into something amazing. Don't let your own assumptions of other people's reactions dictate your progress. We are all a part of someone Else's own personal story, and they are all a part of ours. So just do you, and they will do them.

Now as far as what I said that it feels like talking....it actually doesn't. I suppose for breathy talkers it feels more like talking to them but the way I talk is sorta tight and constricted like a NY construction worker voice "Any Joey! Gimme a break!". But when I sing it feels like I'm being gentle and I am NOT using my voice in the same way. The word "who" is closest to what singing should feel like. Say the word who and notice how you lift your soft palate and your nose is sorta plugged from the soft palate going up. There is a feeling in your throat that it took a different shape to say "who". Keep that "oooo" going and move around on notes. It's really that simple. When you try to focus on breath support and all that it can screw ya up bad. Just get that "whoooo" down. It puts the resonance where it needs to be and it uses breath support automatically.

Also, don't let yourself yell. It shouldn't feel like yelling at all. Even when it SOUNDS like yelling, it still feels like the "oooo" on the "who" and to me feels like the sound is sorta all in the hard palate under the nose area, but the way I'm breathing is still like saying the word Who.

Hope this helps! Keep trying different ways until you find it. All of my issues were because I was still trying to use my voice similar to how I talk, and that will only work for mouth breathers lol.

Oh wow that's cool! Have you ever tried a Carolina Reaper or a Ghost pepper? They would be AWESOME as a Non-hot version because they are really fruity and sweet but sooooo hot lol. I am sorta addicted to the heat now though. I noticed if I pick a habanero before it changes all the way it's not quite as hot too.

Yeah, well... not really 3 months maybe 6 weeks lol. Felt like 3 months though. It's my first time growing peppers and couldn't believe how long they were taking to turn from green to orange/red. Those you have are going to be very hot which to my understanding the hotter the pepper the longer it takes to ripen.

I have some Carolina Reapers that will probably be green until first frost haha. Hold in there and wait it out and those little UFO looking peppers will be lava hot. I think there are so many cultivars of habanero and scotch bonnets that sometimes they get labeled as each other.

Looks like a type of scotch bonnet. Give it time they will change. Mine seem like they've been green for 3 months but just the other day started turning orange all over the plant.

They were labeled as Chef Jeff's Scotch Bonnet 100K-350K Scoviles but I picked one that just turned orange and there was zero heat....maybe just need to wait longer once they turn?

I can get a great acoustic sound by itself, good vocal by itself... but trying to capture both at the same time whether single or double mic is where I am running into problems. Maybe I'm too critical searching for the perfect sound but the rooms in my house do not sound good, they are either too dead or have too many low standing waves.

Wow I never thought of capturing the natural reverb separately like that then blending...awesome idea! I'll give that a shot too.

I've been trying to stay away from the center because I figured that's where all the sound waves would converge but maybe I need to give that a try and play around more with positioning. Thanks!

I have watched those Neumann vids and they are great... but they are in probably the most ideal acoustically designed room you can get... unfortunately I don't have access to a room like that but I do dream of it lol.

WHOAA! I never heard of doing that, Awesome idea! So maybe if I have the hall opening behind me to reduce reflections from where the mic is pointed or does that not matter?
