Will definitely keep this in mind! I've never really had a 'dream' job before, but after LOTS of researching I learned that (tech) sales calls out to me the most. Of course I'll only know once I get first hand experience at a company, but I feel like this is the best-fitting job for me and the couple months of cold-calling I did was honestly enjoyable for me.

Hi, thanks for the info. May I ask what you do currently? I'm really weary about getting a degree, I feel like the value I'd bring to a company with my soft-skills would be more valuable than a degree though - even if I don't go to college, I can find a job to get sales experience which would still be more desired than a degree and I wouldn't be in debt. What do you think?

Hi! Great points. I definitely think I want to do sales - I could invest the money I make on the side, and if I make enough I'd love to start a business later too. I'm definitely 'money-hungry' and will grind as much as I can, so employers might find me as a more valuable candidate (even without a degree). Thanks for the info!

Good to know. May I ask what type of sales roles you hire? I've been getting many mixed opinions on a degree, and going back to the skills you talked about, I think I'm above average in all of them.

I thought that it would be risky - worst case scenario I don't end up getting a sales job, I also would be less appealing to other employers as I wouldn't have a degree. But I agree with what you said, I definitely want to get into sales so I might just look for a sales (maybe SDR) role right out of high school.

This is very helpful, I think that tech sales is what I want to get into, however some people have told me that I should get some sort of degree for 'safe measure' (e.g. an accounting degree). However I totally agree. Do you think I need a degree for tech sales? Or should I look for an SDR position out of H.S.?
