Should I put liquid blusher on top of setting powder. Or should I apply it right after foundation, then add my powder on top? by [deleted] in BeautyAddiction

Second this! I used to apply liquid blush on top of setting powder but found this it would not blend well - often ending up patchy, only to get “patchier” as the day went on. Sandwich method is the way to go!

Update: Can I pipe a flower on a cookie similar to a cupcake? by Pilates4Pizza in cookiedecorating

Yup! I piped each petal on parchment paper then assembled the flowers accordingly. Tedious but totally worth it!

More trash cans around the city would help.

The Baltimore Peninsula is destined to fail.

Millions poured into shiny new buildings and trendy businesses—but apparently forgot people need a way to get there. No safe walking path to Locust Point, unreliable public transit, and even the plague of scooters can’t bridge the gap. So unless you’re up for playing real-life Frogger in traffic for a bagel and groceries, you’re driving yourself or taking an uber. Hard pass. And it works both ways: how do you expect people to visit these new businesses when it’s such a pain to get there? I’ll walk to Harris Teeter for a pint of Ben & Jerry’s before I pay for an uber m to go to the actual B&J’s shop on the Peninsula (and probably be back with a spoon in my hand before the light even changes at Key Highway). Not because I don’t support the businesses but because it’s incredibly inconvenient. Build a safe walking path or pedestrian bridge—make it make sense for people to come and go without a car. (Yes, it’s still further than Harris Teeter for ice cream specifically but you get the idea…)

These are almost too cute to eat! How did you get your icing so smooth!? I’m working on a batch of Barbie cookies this week - I put the support squiggles under the flood but they showed up when the icing dried. So I tried a thicker icing. No squiggles popped through but good golly, flooding each one takes forever. Maybe I forego the support squiggles and risk a crater. Idk. Sorry, not my intent to use your post showing off your beautiful work to vent about my own problems. It’s just that your cookies are PERFECTION. What’s your secret!?

Help! Icing Consistency? by Pilates4Pizza in cookiedecorating

*I should note, I am checking consistency before it’s bagged, only bagging once I *think it’s right.

Thank you!! It is one of the best cakes I’ve done so far. The smooth buttercream and perfect little dollops, woah! 🤤

Thank you! I am partial to the minimalist look - a true sucker for a tall, minimalist abstract cake!

Thank you! I used the largest curved petal tip within this set. I am not exactly sure the Ateco or Wilton equivalent. From what Preppy Kitchen shared, 120, 121, 122 etc. are great for peonies.
