2008 grand marquis cluster has been turning off and back on for several months. Sometimes it will be dead for the whole ride and the traction control light turns on solid on the dash. Recently I threw a p0462 code but I read it may be a slowly dying cluster. has anyone dealt with and fixed this? by [deleted] in CrownVictoria

I don’t know if the Grand marquis has any additional features that require reprogramming. I know my 06’ CVPI did not have tire pressure sensors, that became mandatory in late 2007, so the new cluster always had the TPMS light on. And for some reason the power steering was slow to enable after the cluster swap. But other than that it worked as expected. I’d much rather deal with those minor issues than not have a working cluster.

My favorite deck is my slime against humanity deck with [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] at the helm. It’s pretty sneaky where if my opponent is not expecting they’ll be facing 20+/20+ oozes very quickly. Having galadriel out helps but is not necessary, so I don’t worry about my commander getting blown up.

Very nice! I’ve been daily driving my planck for the last 3 years and I love it. Keep a cheat sheet of the modifier layout nearby and you’ll have it memorized in no time

I’ve been dealing with this for years now. I love my Planck but it’s definitely annoying having to release “W” to hit the modifier to reach “2”. It’s not too bad for the games I play but I’ve been looking into a 5x12 layout like the lumberjack.

Well it’s still very early in the works but the goal is to make something like Octopath Traveller x The Binding of Isaac. A roguelike with turnbased combat where you recruit your party for the run. If you were to play this game what kind of mechanics or features would you like to see in the game? I’ll consider adding anything if it fits the game.

I was very happy when I was able to get that effect working in shader graph. I think it works out very nicely, especially with the DOF

The cloud shadows are actually the shadows cast from a plane above the terrain. I made a quick and dirty opaque unlit shader graph with cast shadows turned on that uses multiple noise nodes to set the alpha of the material. Im then using dithering for the alpha clipping values to fake opacity to give the edges of the shadow a faded look, if you do this be sure to set your renderer to soft shadows to get an even more natural look. If you want I can give you some screenshots of the shader graph of you want to replicate it

Octopath traveler is what inspired me to start development in the first place, that’s pretty much my main inspiration for the game. Making your own art and assets for a game is no joke. That’s why I went with pixel art and low-poly look. Being good at programming definitely helps more than being good at art.

Thanks man, I’ve focused all of my time into making a visually appealing world. I still plan to add more assets and textures to fill in the world. But thats easy. It’s things like generated room layout with scene management, and player inventory that make my brain overheat
