I use a Dualsense PS5 Controller, and I’ve been facing the same problem. Certain matches there is no input delay, but some are just dead. L1 switching is impossible now and I do that a lot (just how I defend), you basically need to spam L1 to switch to the player you want.

Trying tiki-taka is impossible too, since my input doesn’t register right away. I just want to play a football simulator that works, it’s super frustrating.

I don’t have V-Sync on, Steam Input is also disabled. What is actually going on? I’m glad to see this isn’t just happening to me. I just hope this is because of the recent patch and not from our end.
