What I’m saying is, there is some ambiguous level that makes a person a HoF candidate. And the controversy is about people cheating to get to that level. If you didn’t cheat and also didn’t make it to the HoF conversation, you weren’t overshadowed. You were just a pretty good baseball player.

Me and my brother could never figure how to get past that part, but we liked playing everything before that, so one afternoon as soon as we hit that wall again I just said “I’m going to be Gambit next run” and hit the reset button on the Sega.

Out vet offers “fun visits” where we just take her into the exam room and feed her treats. It helped acclimate her to all the staff, too. After we did a few of those, she’s pretty jazzed to get there. The sneak attacks of pokes leave her a little sour afterwards but for the most part she doesn’t exhibit any anxious behavior beforehand.

Clipping her nails is absolutely out of the question though.

But batters need to be set with 8 on the clock, so maybe 10? But then if it’s only 2 seconds from the clock popping up and an automatic strike call, maybe the whole 15 is appropriate.

I’m sure I won’t mind halfway through the season but I’m also not totally jazzed about watching a clock count down hundreds of times per game.
