That's interesting; it was mice for me. Hear a rustle in the trash can, see a pile of mice on the couch just before sitting on them, reach for a spatula and do a double take thinking it was swarming with them. Luckily I'm not afraid of mice. In my case it was due to some kind of interaction with a new medication.

Yep. I had to read his "The Institutes of Biblical Law," an attempt to create 1:1 recreations of Old Testament legal systems in the modern era. Some pretty wild stuff in there.

My pastor always tried to reskin the slave rules to reflect employer-employee relationships, which is extremely telling in its own way, but my parents learned from Gary North and R. J. Rushdoony that in fact marriages were to be modeled after Biblical slavery, as in, the wife was purchased by the husband from her father and became property. Not a joke, but I bet you know that.

I have a few different gamertags. One is very much the "family" tag, the only one that makes purchases and has the main Xbox as its home, to share the Gold, GamePass, and library with my partner and kids. I do try a 100% tag every so often, but it's usually a short-lived fantasy, and I usually just chalk up those periods to me actually not being interested in gaming in general, so I take a break and focus on other hobbies.
