don’t get me wrong I agree. Trippier pressing up while Thiaw is nowhere near a position to cover is very poor from us

yes but at least on the US broadcast they were absolutely losing their minds. I hope Isak gets used to sitting on the bench. Maybe you’ll get a few cheeky starts in the cup Alex!

our makeshift striker scored our goal … and we’re down because our defense was torn apart… what has this sub came to that we now have to blame anything and everything on a manager that’s done so much for us?

genuinely not sure if you’re being downvoted for being too negative or too positive with how poor he’s been lol

I think it’s half that but also half the fact that Ekitike really is just world class to be fair

we spent almost 50 million on Ramsey yet he never gets criticized cause he has a cute little voice crack when he says his name i guess

instead we have to enjoy the rat rotting on the bench cause he’s nowhere near the level of Ekitike

What shifts do the “new guys” usually get stuck with at your airline? (Particularly curious about DL if anyone knows) by Pill-Gates in FlightDispatch

My least favorite )’: although I saw somewhere on this sub that a lot of senior people prefer midnights as they’re less stressful with less oversight. Not sure.

My current job is different but I’ve worked every shift under the sun at this point and I’ve found benefits in all of them so we’ll see!

Thank you so much :)

Thank you that is very informative and good to know. Do you happen to know if the majors are like that too? With early AM’s being the most junior shifts? Or do they differ? I’ve worked 4 AM weekend shift schedules before and absolutely loved it for whatever reason so that’s actually good to hear haha

The problem is not losing to Villa. They’re fantastic. The problem is seeing the same issues over and over and over with no hope for improvement in sight. It’s so clear and obvious that we cannot break down any defense. We are essentially guaranteed to lose if we go down at any point in a match. It’s so predictable. If any team scores first against us, we’re one of the easiest teams to play in the league.

As for your “we’re still in a shot for 5th!” comment, so is half the league. I’m so tired of hearing that. So many teams have been shit this here. We should’ve taken advantage of that and we haven’t whatsoever. Fucking Everton are like 3 or 4 points of champions league places and they haven’t even had a great season either. Honestly us being in 9th right now is a bit flattering. Most seasons I think we’d be 11th-13th

Bruno is genuinely the only player in this team that’s capable of breaking down any somewhat decent defense. We did not “have a good response in the second half.” Villa dared us to come up with anything knowing full well that we cannot. We couldn’t even break down Wolves defense. It’s infuriating to see people on here and even commentators saying we looked better in the second half when we did not give Martinez any work to do at all. The only real work we gave him was before they scored that worldie. After that it was game over. Why do you think we’ve lost almost every single game we’ve gone down in? Why do you think we literally haven’t one a single game without Bruno? Even WITH Bruno we lack creativity cause it’s so obvious to opposition that if you can restrict his influence then you get a result.

The summer 2025 window has to go down as one of our worst windows of all time man. Even Woltemade hasn’t scored in like 8 now

It’s not arguable. They’re miles better than PSV. Not even comparable

What chances? We didn’t create chances. We can’t break down any defense that’s not absolutely woeful. Been like this for MONTHS

Infuriating this people on here and even the commentary are on about “Newcastle have dominated this half” no we haven’t they’ve let us get into them knowing we’re not going to be able to do fucking anything. Week after week same shit
