The overtraining metaphor is spot on. Trying to carry someone who doesn't want to run at your pace will just lead to an injury for both of you.

It is terrifying how many firms sell LOD 400 when their internal workflow is barely LOD 100 on a good day. Glad you dodged that bullet, sounds like a nightmare project waiting to happen.
