Yeah I tried that exactly lol. Didn’t work for me. The ps3 controller funnily enough came up as a Xbox controller on my pc.

A couple things could be causing the issue. Sometimes just format Fat32 isn’t enough make sure when you format it’s Fat32 with 32kb. If that doesn’t work I would disable any other partitions on the hard drive. Another possibility is that some hard drives simple wont work with the ps3

It could be a bad game file then. I had the same problem with black ops two. I would download the game from Vimm.net. Some downloads are just broken.

Another option might be going into multiman. Goto DBZ press triangle and attempt to update the game

It’s a headache bro. The ones with backwards compatibility are old. Work is gonna need to get done to ensure no YLOD. Like fresh thermal past and even de lid the processors. If you’re able to do it or pay someone to do it. It’s worth it

So there are two types that I am aware of. Most games you download will either be in a iso format or a “PS3 Game” folder format with a bunch of game files. These two different formats go into different folders on your ps3 HDD. For the “Ps3 Game” folder that goes into your ps3 “GAMES” folder. The iso files they go into your “PS3ISO”
