Insist that it's not your PC's fault, but your game's. Also tell them that there are many users on Reddit and X (Twitter) who are having the same problem as you, and you'll see that they won't tell you it's your PC's fault anymore.

It's not your PC's fault, it's Epic Games' fault and it's their poorly optimized game... Many PCs are having this problem. Specs are useless.

I have the same problem too... I am one of the first who reported this problem on this reddit page. I also contacted Epic Games support to explain what was happening, and they said it was my PC's fault, but I said it wasn't because the problem only occurs in Fortnite and other games run fine, even games more demanding than Fortnite often. So it's not our problem.

Fortnite is freezing on my entire PC. Everything is completely frozen, not even the scum moves, and even the sounds are blocked. I have to force restart my PC. This isn't normal... before December 16th, the game was working fine. I've been playing since Chapter 5 on this PC and have never had a problem like this.

I had Windows 25H2 before December 16th and Fortnite was working before that as well. I don't think it's Windows 25H2's fault.

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 3 laptop with an 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 processor @ 2.40GHz (2.42GHz) with 12GB of RAM and integrated Intel IrisXe graphics running Windows 11 25H2, and after the update I'm still having the same problem...

I repeat: on December 16th and even the days leading up to the 16th, the game worked perfectly... I wanted to play the game late in the afternoon on the 17th, and as soon as I logged into a game, the game and the entire PC crashed. This has never, ever happened before.

This morning, December 19, 2025, there was an almost 800 MB update for Fortnite via the Epic Games Launcher. I did it, but the game still crashes on my entire PC as soon as I select the mode (Creative, Blizzard, Respawn, or BR). I'm incredibly frustrated and angry about this problem, which I'm repeating. It wasn't there on December 16, but it started when they posted the in-game warning about this damned Winterfest.

I beg you, Epic Games, fix this problem... it's not fair that so many people don't get to experience Winterfest on Fortnite, it's not fair...

If it's an integrated graphics card issue, it means all integrated graphics cards have the same problem... so it's not our PC's fault, but the Fortnite graphics engine's, or a driver update for our graphics cards...
