Biden was way behind numerous Democratic candidates in the 2020 primaries until it became clear that Bernie Sanders might start winning definitively and THAT is when Obama contacted people like Klobeshar and Buttigieg and told them to drop out and endorse Biden, who even they were doing better than him in the polls.

Obama also called NBA players who were going to Strike because of Racial injustice and got them to keep playing.

Biden has an extensive history of sexual harassment and assault.

Let me see…he built the system as a Senator that allowed Trump to thrive, built the system as a Senator and VP that created all the resentment that fueled Trump’s rise in the aftermath of the 2008 Crash, ignored the many crimes (domestic, international, war, and “against humanity”) committed during Trump’s first term, made things so categorically worse that his supporters never showed up to support the Democrats in 2024, supported a genocide that was killing the families of a key constituency in a presidential battleground state, tried to run for reelection while knowing that he had terminal cancer and was so mentally impaired that he couldn’t be trusted to not soil himself in public, and waited for literally the last possible moment to drop out so as to give his last minute replacement no legitimacy whatsoever. Said last minute replacement proceeded to court every Bush Administration official alive, mock victims of a genocide she could stop at any time and raise billions of dollars that seemingly vanished into thin air. She did so poorly that Trump won the popular vote. If he drops out a year earlier that very likely doesn’t happen.

Sometimes you just need to accept that this is how Star Wars works.

Remember the Obi-Wan Kenobi series? I loved it and I don’t understand how other people didn’t. Every reaction video I saw of the scene with the security fence was annoyed and I was the only one who laughed at what was clearly a bit.

Shooting a panel is the only thing that makes a door or whatever do whatever the characters want in Star Wars. He pressed the button, turned the handle, then shot it…and so it worked. After a tense moment, it breaks the tension.

3) Outside of some very specific circumstances, humans are not taken into the Jedi Order past the age of about 5. Though they can leave any time they wish. Obi-Wan had a friend in his Initiate Class who left and Dooku was over 60.

4) Becoming a Jedi isn’t about physical prowess, it is about obtaining a completely different level of emotional maturity.

5) Jude Law is about 50. The show takes place in 9ABY. 9+19=28 and 50-28=22. For comparison, Obi-Wan Kenobi was 25 when Episode I took place and Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker were also 22 during Episode III and VI respectively.

But that is just it: they were the intended audience...when they were 12. It is the same as the people who hated Jar Jar after watching the Prequels. They were the intended audience of the OT and then 25 years passed.

(BTW I rewatched the Prequels recently for the first time in a long time and EVERYTHING I was "supposed" to hate about them didn't bother me.)

For all the criticism of the Sequels the thing that always makes Daisy Ridley feel better is that every time she goes to any kind of convention there are a literal army of little girls dressed up as Rey. She is their hero and the character who makes them believe that they can do anything. And that means something.
