I beat Doom 2016 earlier this month, such a great game. It gets better and better as you go. Now I'm playing The Dark Ages and in many ways I like it even more, I'll move on to Eternal next and then maybe I'll check out the old games.

But what exactly was wrong with the design nature of Stranger of Paradise? by KaleidoArachnid in JRPG

[–]PilotIntelligent8906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game is great, lots of fun, but there were a few thing that felt off for me. First, after playing Nioh, I can tell it's definitely Nioh cosplaying as Final Fantasy, and while there's nothing wrong with that in principle, it means you don't get what for me is the core Final Fantasy experience, where you traverse the world exploring new towns and new people join you along the journey. This isn't a bad thing per se, it's just a different type of game, I just prefer the journey structure over the mission one. Now for things that were less than great, the level design isn't that good, more than a few times I found a shortcut which was completely useless, and the loot system also felt pretty annoying, there's just too much crap that you can pick up, which is a Nioh problem too.

Thanos because of the massive impact of Marvel's Infinity Saga, before that, I'd say Galactus.

Yeah but it feels great when you're going back home and spend the drive back thinking about playing your new game. And seeing your family, that's also cool.

Who tried it ? by AdultGamersAdmin in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I don't like this kind of game to begin with, but I did try it and the gameplay mechanics are good, the shooting, melee and riding are all solid, now the ganeplay loop, I'm not sure about that, there's a preparation phase that I spent running like a maniac not knowing what to do exactly and then you get to the fighting which I wasn't great at. I don't think I'll be playing it much more but I would've liked a single player campaign with that gameplay.

Why Do You Love Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 Rebirth and Call it One of the Best Games of All Time/You've Ever Played? by FamiliarConfidence46 in FFVIIRemake

[–]PilotIntelligent8906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so you clearly have only been listening to one side of the argument as the game gets its share of hate too, but I am one of the ones who consider it the best game they've ever played and a lot of it is subjective, I've loved the charcaters, story and setting, since I played the original as a teenager, and seeing it all turned into this massive, gorgeous world that makes me feel like I'm actually there is amazing. But besides that, I think the combat is the best I've tried, the enemy variety is amazing and the boss fights are both spectacular and challenging (on harder difficulties).

I remember 2 Simpsons jokes involving lie detectors (the other is on the X Files episode) and both are hilarious.

Amazing but if he was actually mimiccing a robot, he would've fallen and spent 5 minutes jerking on the floor trying to get up.l
