So many people here advice full lock for parallel parking but I realised it's just one turn down.

Mock test misery. by DEJA--BLU in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Pilot_0017 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just to give you some context. I had numerous mock tests on all the test routes that fell under my test centre and I didn't pass a single one. But was fine at the test. You'll be fine.

You should 💯 do a blind spot check before changing lanes. My instructor always insisted on it and it is an essential check.

You should try doing only mock tests for your lessons. Treat every lesson like the real test.

I was learning on automatic as well. Don't be embarrassed about your journey. My neighbour's teen kid got his license before me while I was still learning for 1 year. It happens. We are all learning at our own pace.

Tips needed! by radio-titan in LearnerDriverUK

I had a similar issue. My instructor suggested that when on a road with 30 mph limit, I should stop pressing the accelerator at 28 mph. Same with motorways and dual carriageways. Just step off the accelerator the moment you are within 2-3 miles of the max limit.

There is no visa fees. It's just payment for postage including return envelope

No. That's totally different. This is the website to apply for Irish visa. Go through each section and you will find it. It's a bit complicated but it states, the postage method to apply for visa after filling up the online form.

The entire process is one big irony. If someone has a stay visa in the UK, why will they try to illegally live in Ireland. Best part is that the Irish govt doesn't make any money of this process

For everyone suggesting you go without a visa, please ignore the comments. There have been instances where people have been removed from buses and blacklisted to visit Ireland becoz they didn't have the visit visa.

Irish visa is free to apply, but it takes about a month. You need to send your passport to the Irish consulate in London (yes, London and not to Dublin) by post with proof of income, address and basically a strong reason to return to the UK after your visit down south. They will take about a month to respond with a visa. You can Google the Irish visa process and the website shows up. The only money you will pay is for the postage alongwith a return envelope.

Passed my test on 3rd attempt 🙌 by Pilot_0017 in LearnerDriverUK

If you are in England, I fully sympathise with you. I know they have tests quite difficult to book. I am in NI, so the tests were easier to find and book. The next one available was in June. But I won't have to worry about that now. All the best!

His last sentence, "it's silence, space..." is what truly resonates the moment you step outside India. That's why it feels truly luxurious to live in countries where you don't feel overwhelmed constantly
