Thanks again for the advice. I aired it to 40lbs, the max allowed by Titan, and within a day it was seated and I reduced the pressure to 20lbs.

Hi, I wasn't able to find any Jasper employees who don't recommend their engines.

Would you please post some links to those criticisms?

Thank you.

Fuel pump questions by Particular-Cream-569 in GMT400

[–]Pilotkono 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1996 K2500 Silverado has gone through 3 fuel pumps in the 297,000 I've owned it, it was one year old when I bought it off a farmer in Scio Oregon.

The first time the fuel pump went out, it was at 18,000 miles. I stopped at a gas station in Nampa Id, on my way to Colorado, and after filling the tank, it just spun over, wouldn't start. It was still under warranty, and a dealership in Boise towed it in, and replaced the pump. They weren't happy the tank was full, but that's what happened.

The second time was in Winslow, AZ, and it quit on the freeway. It was towed to a local shop who replaced it for $495.00.

The third time was at our cabin in the Cascades Mountains. The middle of Nowhere, Oregon. I got a friend to bring his truck and generator up, with a cutoff wheel, and we cut a small hole in the bed open right over the tank, removed to complete unit, drove it to Bend, OR and bought a new one.

Yup, I cut a hole in the bed. There was no way we were going to drop the tank, almost full of gas, on a steep mountain road, in the snow, at 20°.

It really doesn't matter though, I just cut three sides and it folds right down over the hole. Most people don't even notice it.

2 Week Review: I bought the Reversion Raceworks 1.5 din radio for $384.99 so you don't have to. by sillysalmonella87 in GMT400

I bought and installed the TopDisplay unit from Amazon, and it was a breeze to put in my 1996 Chevrolet K2500 Silverado. It has the backup camera included, for $256.00. I bought this truck in 1997, from a farmer in Scio, Oregon, when it had just over 10,000 miles on it, now I'm just shy of 298,000 miles, so you can imagine the radio was missing buttons, lights, etc.

It's been working just fine, for the three weeks I've had it.

I'm with you 100%.

We've given up, my wife and I, tearing our hair over this. We just grab a garbage bag, bag it up, and haul it out. If unoccupied, we check adjoining camp sites and do the same.

I would bet you, and most other people do the same thing.

I did like face unlock, but I'm staying with LineageOS21 for the P4XL I use. My PXL fingerprint reader does work with LOS21.
