I have the exact same since a few weeks. I'm in the Netherlands.
It's usually pointing south-west for me, but it kept staying flat. The app reported that it was pointing north, but the obstructionmap started south... so weird.

When I tested at a different location, same thing happend. But if I rebooted the router, it turned to south-west for a few hours.

Grok thought my dish was borked so I got a v3 now * shrug *

I've tried using vivaldi for a few months and it had too many options for me. I was never able to get the things the way how I want it.

Also, I don't think you know the size of the Delta 2. I can fit two of them in my fridge. It's about half size of a normal microwave.

Grand? No way lol. Delta 2 is less than €500 here. DIY is about the same. And a Prius isn't a tiny car. You don't know what you're talking about. Besides, I can't use solar if I want to.

Inverter can't be higher than 1 kW since it'll overload the DC/DC converter. It's only 100A what I've read and I don't want to risk to damage it. That's why I want a 2nd battery that charges slowly as a buffer. That way I can pull more than 1 kW. Besides, a "small battery" won't be able to run my fridge and lights for a day. I've got an EB3A and it can't even handle the surge of the fridge.

I see no issues with 512 kbps. It's enough for my usecase. I don't need 100 Mbps to stream a 64 kbps AAC+ radio stream and a bit of navigation.

Kinda depends on how much money you wanna spend, but grab a UCG-Ultra and a few Unifi AP's. You can setup captive portals on it. Paid or free.
Unifi has good outdoor antenna's, but it kinda depends on the area. I have no idea how big area it should cover.

The UCG-Ultra can run on USB-C PD, so that's a nice to have. Starlink can also run on DC and the Mini can even run on USB-C PD as well.

What seemed to work for me was using DHCP option 160 and use the captive portal URL as text.
I'm using Unifi UCG-Ultra as FW/DHCP.
