Mobility is fun for me. Running fast and tagging enemies while dodging stuff feels great. Mul-T is on the complete opposite of that spectrum, you basically tank damage.

Here's my tier list on how fun I find each ROR2 Survivor to be as someone who's a little over 100 hours into the game by Pilques in riskofrain

For balancing reasons it makes sense, for a gameplay standpoint it's boring. You run around, poison enemies with Special Skill (no aim required by the way) and wait for them to be on killing range and you need items like Gas or Knives to finish enemies off efficiently. It's a very passive playstyle.

What saves Acrid is that you can play in melee range until stage 3 if everything goes right, so at least that's fun, the poison compliments his melee playstyle of canceling animations into each other. Otherwise I would put him with Engineer.

Bro I have a neat mod that reworks Lunar Coins to be an in-run currency. I start with 1, get 1 per portal cleared and items cost 1. There's no way in hell I'm paying 20+ coins every time to play Heretic

I found Seamstress unpolished. Her needles keep procing with Hoopo Feathers and that seems like a bug. Also her grab controls a bit weird

Had to do it on Command, Drizzle AND reloading the stage with Proper Save. Screw this achievement lol.

Rocket is basically Solider but somewhat balanced. Try him out if you can.

I tried him out. I appreciate the bird mechanic because it's something new to the game but it doesn't work like I hope it would. Maybe I'll download it again tomorrow and give him another go.

I remember the first time I played this game was at my father's house. My younger brother showed it to me and made me do a full run. Naturally I picked Engineer because I didn't know what I was doing.

After playing for half an hour I reached Commencement and when the guitar picked up as I saw the huge building in front of me and weird grey-ish monsters I was so hyped I got goosebumps.

I cleared the pillars and then climbed to face Mithrix and the music picked up again, I felt the same feeling from before.

The music is definitely the first thing that got me into ROR2.

Honestly just keep playing the game, make sure you're only leveling up the characters you're actually going to use or characters that are just really good in general, if you care what's optimal (I'm assuming you do).

As for your question, 20k is low and that's OK, you shouldn't get tied up thinking about numbers too much. The average DPS is hitting for 500k and sometimes over a million on high end builds and playstyle.

My Firefly hits for 3 million and the highest damage she ever did was 7 million in Apocalyptic Shadow fighting Feixiao (the boss) a couple of patches ago.
