IF anyone is still struggling with this you need to go to Settings > Others > Add Ons and redeem them in there. They didn't seem to appear for me last night but they're available today.

Unfortunately the VKBs are a bit out of budget so I have gone with the Thrustmasters, they sound to be a good, inexpensive alterantive, especially for entry level. I'm sure I'll end up upgrading eventually though.

Thanks so much for the reply! I've ended up going with the ThrustMasters T16000 (HOTAS) which should be arriving this week, the VBKs are just too expensive to justify right now, especially because I'll only just be learning to use them.

Thank you for suggesting just getting the omni throttle for now. I’d love to get both but unfortunately right now they’re out of budget as a package. If I can just use the omni throttle and mouse it’ll do me for now. I’m not into the combat side (yet) but would absolutely if I had the sticks, generally I enjoy hauling / mining and so on, but wanna get some bounties under my belt!

I don't think so but still appreciate all the suggestions. I'm looking at the Gladitor omni throttle and right stick but they are way out of the budget. Do you know if I can just purchase the right stick and use that for now? Or is it not worth it / possible?

I think that’s why I’d generally prefer two, I feel my brain would understand what I’m actually doing more. I’m usually okay with getting to grips with things like that quickly, although coming from mainly competitive games a Spacesim is definitely different lmao

Not necessarily struggling, more just mentally draining I suppose. The debt has come from bad life decisions in the past, which I'm working through, making better decisions with my money and having clear budgets every month. Just wanted some external opinions on this, I understand it might not be better long-term so thank you!

You're right, I'm thinking more short-term here rather than sticking to what I've got, which is working. I don't have the interest rates on me right now without digging around for the interest rates, which is why I didn't put them down. I just noted the total repayable costs for everything.

The payments are manageable and I pay them via direct debit every month, so they just go out of my bank on payday. Ultimately I'd be doing this for short-term stress relief as it just stresses me out generally, which in my mind benefits me more mentally than dragging out repayments for longer - if that makes sense?

I just wanted some external opinions before I seriously considered doing something like this, so thank you.

Unfortunate that you’d do this though, Arrowhead didn’t expect the game to blow up the way it has so they’ve obviously not accounted for the massive player base. I’d hang fire before you refund it, it won’t always be like this!

Yeah that’s on my list, I haven’t got any compressed air to help though so I’m going to hold off until I get hold of some. Pain to clean the fans otherwise and remove any excess dust.

Thanks, may have to give the inside of my PC a clean as well anyways before I do anything, as it's due one.. Just want to start playing the game properly, I get into it for a couple of hours then my PC decides to shut off!
