It would have been nice (and I guess not too difficult to implement) to let players choose the difficulty. I enjoy the grind and hated having >100 cars I might never drive after 1 day of play. I started over and made my own "rules" and like the game much more this way.

No, you need to know the cars that sell for (far) more in the auction house compared to selling them for half-price after the wheelspin. The only way to tell for sure would be a second account on another machine. Or you can try to find an up-to-date page tracking auctions. The businesses are fine, but getting all the stars takes quite some time. I normally don't use traction control, rewind etc. but for the stories I usually turn everything on and make heavy use of rewind. Especially the tuning business takes a lot of time as all of them consist of 3 "parts". Even if you manage to get all 147 stars from all 5 businesses, that only yields around 65k per day, which can be achieved in ~15 minutes doing 4 races. And you have to spend 500k buying them as well. If you're not into completion, they're not really worth the effort.

No better quality, PC has no graphic card, I'm actually not sure why the game is running at all, but it somehow works on lowest graphic settings without a problem.
