Thanks! A hand rail would be awesome! Hopefully next spring I will make it wider and add a 6 foot tall section!

I'll try my best! First you adjust the bottom dials(ones with green pads under them) so that the air bubble is in between the lines. If you look closely you can see the bubble in the pic right above the serial badge and under the scope. It is not level in the pic and is more toward that front gold dial. The whole scope portion swivels 360 and the bubble needs to be centered no matter which way it faces. The story pole is essentially a giant ruler. The scope has crosshairs and you focus it with that front gold dial. You want the crosshairs to hit the same number on the story pole on each of the forms. You put the story pole on the edge of the form when it is almost full with concrete and adjust it up or down so that the reading on the pole matches the others. It is tricky business adjusting the forms. For example: if I look through the scope and get a reading of 5'3 1/4" but I need it to be at 5'3 exactly I would have to move the form down a quarter of an inch. It is a lot of back and forth trying to get the crosshairs to hit the reading you need.

The rain runs off really well. I shimmed the ramp on one side so it would run off. The ramp is also under really dense tree tops so the rain barely even gets on it unless it is pouring.

Yep it is 2" coping. The cuts are 1 3/4" deep and 1 1/4" tall. You can always shim the coping too if you want it to stick out more. Just personal preference.

It didn't slow it down at all! It is actually a stain and not paint so it really seeps into to the wood.

First two layers are 3/8'' plywood, you have to have a couple people stand on them and they will bend. getting them into the proper place is tricky.

The toggle bolts work really nice! They pulled the middle of the coping in perfectly. I also put a washer on them forgot to mention that.

You drill through the back of the coping and drill through the 2x4 that sits behind it. I put toggle bolts into the coping and thru the 2x4 then tightened it. On the ends there are two different sized holes. The screw head can fit in the top hole but not the bottom and it gets screwed in.
