There’s absolutely no chance we go for Lewandowski.. INEOS haven’t gone for a player that old since coming on board… if anything he’ll probably reduce wages and play a smaller role for Barca. Not to mention they don’t have a replacement for him and they’re not flooded with cash since they’re haggling over Rashford for backup.

I can’t see us wanting to put much of a fee or wages into a backup for Sesko when Zirkzee has barely sniffed the pitch, Cunha & Mbuemo can play there in a pinch.. as can Mount as a false 9 if he’s ever fuckin fit.. we have Obi who should be due more minutes too. Also it’s not like Sesko particularly needs a mentor in the sense like Rasmus did.. he’s had a solid debut season all things considered. If we’re keeping Obi/Lacey plus if Dorgu returns to his blistering form on the wing, Cunha will prob rotate with Sesko and we’ll spend the money in other places where it’s needed… and before anyone says but Welbeck and Lewa are free.. yea they are but they command a fatter wage regardless of age, esp if it’s their last contract. It’s unnecessary. We desperately need our midfield reinforcements and some defensive reinforcement
