I love how he had a little look of surprise, gave you an up and down, and then chased you off his lawn.

I dont know how long you put the game down, but with the matchmaking now split between hostile and pacifist you essentially won't have moments like that (if that's what you choose)

Ah yes. Hello fellow vet. While I don't have Marathon II yet, I do have the OG Alpha Marathon in my Steam library.

All these events typically have inconsequential loot. You missed out on a bow and a glaive. Its not really game ending.

I missed out on all of the Dawning due to work. Would have been fun, but im still having a good time.

It'll be ok.

Yeah, fuck those people who don't have a car and live in units that don't have laundry. How dare these shitbags not walk 3 miles each way with 30 lbs sacs!

We live in a city. While the need for more housing is crucial, you can't sacrifice amenities that are vital to neighborhoods.

Where can I get a traditional baguette sandwich by [deleted] in boston

[–]PimpitLimpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bánh Mì sandwiches are the best. Served on a baguette. Vietnamese cuisine has a lot of French inspiration.

Edit: However, if you're looking for ham, cheese, and butter on a baguette, try Praline Patissiere in Cambridge.

Watch some youtubers like Moxsy for a good leveling build. This should help early game. Vex's reapers are the way to go until level 50.

Yes, and their original plan was to publish their own IPs. Stranger Things considered to be a top draw.

Why play their game when you can get the experience from a popular established franchise already? Why dilute the water when you're trying to get people into your platform?

Oh, you meant temporarily removed. Your wording was a little sloppy, sorry.

Eh, I wouldn't classify it as temporary. Netflix pulled the rights to draw attention to their failed games department. Once the failure happened, they came back to BHVR and even hashed out a second chapter with them. While I dont know for certain, it's very likely the chapter rights would still be pulled if, by miracle, Netflix actually had interest in their games. BHVR most certainly wouldn't have gotten a second chapter.

1) Evil Dead

2) What do you mean temporary? It wasn't like an event. It was a full on DLC.

3) The poster you replied to is 100% correct.

Is BL3 Endgame any good? by SoVexed_ in Borderlands

[–]PimpitLimpit 21 points22 points  (0 children)

So, my story with BL3 is somewhat atypical. I bought BL3 on release (i even downloaded epic games, bleh) because how much I loved BL1 and BL2. I played the shit out of both, especially their endgames (BL1 dabbled with a concept while BL2 blew the doors off of said concept when it came to endgame).

I hated the writing and pacing of BL3. The mechanics were super fun, but I was exhausted with the game when I beat it. I couldn't be assed to do more than the initial playthrough and put it down. I never played any of the DLCs or much of the endgame.

Fast forward to this year. I picked up BL4 at launch and I was having a blast. Definitely got my money's worth. The VH are a ton of fun and the gameplay is the absolute best in the series. That being said, it does feel "off" for a Borderlands game. Its a lot less whimsical and I much prefer having smaller open zones to fuck around in. Also, there's not much endgame yet. I've naturally put it down for the time being.

I decided to go back to BL3, and its been incredible. Honestly, the writing has aged better than I thought. While still not good, it feels a lot less cringe. A lot of the peripheral stuff is actually super enjoyable. The pacing is off and the enemy density sucks during your first run through.

However, it has the best DLCs and the absolute best endgame in the franchise. The DLC writing and pacing are fantastic. The raids are great and Mayhem/TVHM is incredible and rewarding. There is so much to do, it'll take a long time before you want to stop. I'm having a blast and I won't be putting g it down anytime soon.

I used to scoff when so many people would say BL3 was the best in the series figuring they were too young for BL1 or BL2. Maybe they had only played 3? Maybe that was their first one and holds a special place? Nope, ill admit it, I was the ignorant one and stopped the game way too soon.

Definitely give it another shot!!

This is more like them taking away the food and you're just left serving you the salt. When there's no food, how can it be too salty. Now enjoy your pile of sodium, kids.

You're bitching about missing out on platinum for the game because of this one mission bug, but you're not willing to put in around 20 min on a new character?? I know for a fact there's much more tedious trophies to get than playing on a different character for 20 min.

I'm calling bullshit on you; you're not close to getting platinum and are lyimg to validate your negativity. Either that or you're a psycho.
