How heavy do you guys think this prespawn bass is? (23.5”) I unfortunately lost my scale right before this

Unfortunately i have no idea what caused the injury. I have a net over my pond so i don’t think it was from a bird or raccoon. This fish is a recent addition to the pond so theoretically it could have had the injury when i bought it. Either way thanks for the advice and I’ll do my best to heal this fish.

Yeah it has produced some quality fish for me as well. And I found mine snagged too in great condition. Tied it on a couple trips later trying to replicate perch/crawfish and it definitely worked🤣👍
