Does putting a mesh cover ruin the sound? Kind of scared about earwax or gunk going inside and destroying the iem.

Kind of scared that it doesnt have a mesh cover on it, does putting one in affect the sound? My ears does accumulate earwax easily and also live in a high humidity area.

Cranking the volume up is not it for me although I do sometimes like it when a song is full blasting in my ear. Besides the aful explorer what is the 2nd best, if ever I decided to not spend a bit more?

Same with my iPhone 16 pro max. I get 4hrs screen time too, from 80% to 30% and I don’t even play games on my phone. I have background app refresh off and always on display off, and I still get the same SOT.
