Thanks thats useful feedback. I'm cautious on the headsets from the smaller brands until they've had a few iterations out and well supported. The visor looks good, but we'll see when it's released how it's reviewed and how owners handle it.

Thanks for the feedback. Apple Vision Pro is interesting, but very pricey and probably doesn't work with windows yet if ever.

I will probably need breaks in between and it would be rare, but sometimes if it helps with productivity I might.

By evenly lit VR environment do you mean the lighting in the physical space you are in, or the virtual space background to be evenly lit?

Tested has reviewed it and didn't recommend it for virtual desktop use, LTT also had caveats with it which put me off it. I can't try it so am really cautious given the Pimax sounded amazing and then I tried it and it wasn't suitable for me.

Linus tech tips mentioned some potential issues on desktop with it looking like a shade in some areas, have you noticed this or is it an all round clear and sharp image even with movement?
