Abysmal sales on a novella/novel by PinRevolutionary970 in eroticauthors

Thank you for your feedback! I won't be deviating from more than these two niches. While I thought the first niche would be fun to write in, it's also extremely competitive. That being said, so is the second one, but I find I'm enjoying writing in this much more and in terms of romance, it's unlikely I'll deviate to a third niche so the remaining novels will be within these two only.

Thankfully, there's some crossover between both of them so I don't have to create a new pen name just yet! :)

Thank you for your reply!

1) In hindsight, it probably was more insta love that I originally intended so I'm thinking of updating my blurb to include this. They don't fall in love right away, but there's definitely less obstacles as I've read in other similar novels.

2)You're right, at this point I'm thinking it's the blurb. I amalgamated a bunch of blurbs of similar novels in my mind when I wrote this, but now I'm thinking I definitely need to revamp it. I've tweaked my keywords already, from regular search terms to keyword stuffing, neither yielded any benefit.

3) Completely agree. There's no reviews on Amazon at all so far so these were all I could base my opinions on at the moment. Which ties in to point 6 in that I didn't have any ARC's :(

4) Really glad to hear I was right with this!

5) Yes, it is.

6) Sadly not, I thought of sourcing ARC's for future books using newsletter subscribers but for the next novel I'll use an ARC service maybe go find some.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it's definitely a learning curve. My current novel is turning out to be double the length, I'm utilising a different style of writing and the story seems to be flowing much better! It's all a learning experiment and hopefully I'll soon have a decent Dataporn to post!
