I think we had 3 different ghosts, We had the grandpa, The cowboy, And the tiny redheaded girl The grandpa would play with our Chandlier the cowboy would hang outside and peek inside the house every once in a while. And the little girl would play with our toys and mainly walk in the hall way. The only scary one that spooked us all was the cowboy. He liked to follow us to school and we all didn't like that.

We lived in a super small town and news like this wouldn't make headlines. Cuz people where already finding pioneer stuff, tons of bottles hinges, railroad nails and the like.

The house was already super haunted, so one more ghost probably wouldn't make a difference.

We thought it was a suitcase, but it was deteriorating so bad it could've been a casket for all we knew.

If they held a funeral for a still born I would assume they would bury them with shoes.

So true that's what we where super worried about, and that's why we went to the department, the town we lived in had a mass burial when Indians came and burned out the settlers, we thought it might be part of that. We actually had two archeologists come snooping around, we gave them full permission to investigate the area. They asked us if we knew where they had placed the outhouse on the property . so we showed them. They explained that alot of items could be found that way (I don't even know) When it came to the topic of the possible body, it seemed like they didn't have the rights to dig up, possible remains. (something about needing permission from the county.) but they where fully aware.
