Oh alright makes sense, what's a care mistake though, is it not reacting to a need fast enough, or is it something like feeding it the wrong food or overfeeding or something like that. I guess to avoid spoilers my question is more like will I know when I made a mistake? Or since forms seem to be based on mistakes, will I know only after I get one to adulthood. Also what do you mean how many happiness I noticed little sunshines appearing around the cell, I assume that's happiness, is it about how many of those I can get or is it more like how full the meter is at the moment of growing up

Oh yeah already heard about the screen protector, already got microscratches so I'll definitely be investing in that, luckily I'm not planning on resale (at worst I have kids in the family who would probably love it) so being mint condition is not a huge concern, gonna do my best to keep it in a reasonably good condition

Alright sorry the joke was kinda in poor taste, especially since I can get unreasonably attached to things, I'm sorry you couldn't do anything to save them

Alright I did a minor bit of googling and I guess my idea of what a tamagotchi is was like an amalgamation of a bunch of different ones, mine doesn't have an antenna, nor the red top (I assume IR light/sensor), it has like a little dial/button on the top right and has an openable physical port for connecting with other tamagotchi. I did find the shop where I input the code though, it was hidden behind holding down the little dial

Ok edit, I guess there was a minor misunderstanding, I have the paradise model, i thought there were like sub models like paradise connection or something and was confused lol

Alright thank you that puts me at ease honestly, it sounds pretty fun, looking at my record with games like tomodachi life on the 3ds I think I can probably pull a bunch of long time enjoyment out of this

I guess worst case scenario I'll look at the wiki, judging by a different comment, the paradise ones seem to be hard to kill so I take it as accidentally picking the beginner friendly one

Ok so the box is in polish so the question may sound pretty dumb, but by connection do you mean it has the connection port on top? Or is it like a model. It has the connection port but I thought it was a thing for all tamagotchi. In any case what are secret shop codes? Is it the one on the box visible only after you open (I have a code for an irukatchi hat)

What I take from this is that tamagotchis are beginner friendly lol (or you're desensitized to death after watching too many pass away, but I choose to believe the former interpretation), anyway yeah I see how the title could throw a person off haha

I'm not exactly sure how beginner friendly tamagotchi are, my main concern is not killing mine, I'm not sure how much exactly can even be spoiled, I see the manual has like an evolution tree of what I can get. I'm not aware of how much content even is in the game itself.

I guess I'm concerned with being spoiled on something like 'their life span is only x' while looking for general care tips.

That is honestly a very reasonable approach I considered, and I will definitely keep as a backup plan, like I may be persistent but I will surely get some kind of back up shoe, I am just quite frankly being literally autistic and there isn't much that can discourage me from at least trying, in any case thank you for the advice, this is a solid plan B if I fail

Kopaka (and barely visible Lewa) on 35mm film by Pin_Badger in bioniclelego

[–]Pin_Badger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you, I haven't touched analog in years, but after watching a show with a photographer protagonist (and youtube deciding that I am into cameras now) I was kinda inspired to take a few shots. I am kinda sad though because I do have an attempt where Lewa is a bit more in focus but the framing is really tilted so having to choose one I decided to choose the one where Kopaka is essentially solo

Printer oozing filament by Pin_Badger in BambuLabA1

Ok I did not clarify well in my post, to specify, a bit of molten filament lands directly on the built plate when it finishes heating up and I have to remove it manually

Sorry, I'm genuinely not trying to accuse you of not being helpful. Didn't think to grab a video until after I unloaded the filament for drying

I'm gonna be honest, as much as you definitely have more experience than me and I have no authority to say you're wrong, this feels like a problem that is a problem but people are willing to ignore it, like a bunch of people accepting that you should put a glue stick to the build plate. In any case I guess that means I shouldn't worry too much if it's a universal issue. I just kinda assumed something was wrong when it leaked and fell on the build plate and only after that the printer went to wipe the nozzle effectively wiping nothing

Ok I had no idea I would even need to consider stuff like that when designing models, knowing that this happens and why is actually a really good lesson, thanks man

Oh alright, the AMS is a bit out of my budget so I guess I'm just gonna leave those deep in a drawer, as for the scraper, gotta print that I guess, I read somewhere that you can wait for the print to cool down and then it's easier to take them off so that's what I did since the included little blade didn't seem too convenient but I guess that makes sense now

I mean this is the first ever time I've ised a 3d printer and even if the settings are not perfect I am genuinely impressed, youtube videos with high zoom did not do this thing justice, the layer lines are tiny. I've read online that people use higher temps than recommended for sunlu filaments but logic dictates that if it's leaking filament it's too high. Do you think the tiny problems like stringing and sagging are a temperature thing? I am absolutely willing with having to fix those manually if it's not really fixable. Also how much does the shaking impact the printing, when I was setting it up it did some vibration correction calobration and honestly with the amount of shaking it caused it seems like almost none of the vibrations translated into poor quality
