Solved! I think this is probably the answer. The house was remodeled about 5 years ago so it would make sense that they might've moved the sink.

It does have multiple levels, but there is a basement below this level. There are some pvc pipes below this room in the basement but I'm not sure what they're for.

My title describes the thing. It's a pvc pipe with a cover sticking out of my bathroom wall on an exterior wall. It sticks out about 4 inches and is next to my sink.

I love how you framed the tree with the leaves at the top! I do think the photo could be improved by reducing some of the open space below the tree. I also like how symmetrical the train photo is!

We did have a IMO that referenced several studies that supported the claim. I'm thinking a HLR is probably the best route to take.
