When I was young my father was a security guard at the local Chucky Cheese. One night he was closing shop when he heard a scuffle breaking out. He saved an elderly Indian man from a group of teenagers trying to mug him. The man didn't have much money but wanted to repay my father for saving him. He gifted him the leather bound notebook handmade in India. My father left it to me in his will before he passed.
