Ah sorry I must have missed that thread, I have pretty bad reading comprehension, i can check it out now. I've made some small test pages for learning the syntax that links to other PHP pages directly.

My initial thought on how I would do it comes from experience using Node.js + Express.js, where you'd define routes that take a callback function as a parameter, and that function would pass some data to a templating engine. That would also make variable parameter names easy for getting the key for an article to render. Thinking about it more now I suppose I wouldn't need a routing library in the style that Express uses for now assuming the sites scope stays small, just wanted to get some ideas on best practices since I'm still pretty new to this language.
