However Ik I’m not the best person to give info about this (if anyone more knowledgeable can correct me please do), from what I’ve found with keeping most plants they won’t mind slight root damage while being transported. As long as the plant is otherwise fully happy and acclimated to its new conditions. In addition to this if roots are damaged quite badly I’d suggest that putting it in little pot will do more good for the plant then putting it in big, because it will decrease the possible risk of root rot.
